Spark & Echo debuted their brand new album at a special concert with Wendell Kimbrough!

On a slushy blustery evening as New England was pummeled by a “freak snowstorm” Emily Clare Zempel and Jonathon Roberts went on with the show and debuted their first album at Apologetics Cafe in the East Village.

With a warm opening by Wendell Kimbrough, fans were treated to cozy sounds, crisp cookies and hot chocolate at the concert. Anthony Taddeo (drums) and Chris Nolte (bass) – and Spark and Echo Arts’ own James Hall (trombone) joined to round out the band. Friends and family from as far away as Milwaukee and Washington D.C. came out to support the sounds of these great musicians.

Beautifully produced by Jay and Alex Foote and featuring drummer Mason Neely (Derek Webb, Bifrost Arts), flutist Alex Sopp (NY Phil), cellist Mike Block (Yo-Yo Ma) and many more, Spark & Echo’s album may be ordered online.

Special thanks to everyone who made it out and who helped to make this album happen!
