Spark and Echo Arts is looking for interns! Be a part of an ever changing collection of art. Communicate with artists, participate in NYC events, and learn all about running an arts non-profit.
Position #1: Arts administration. 5-7 hours a week. Job includes contacting and scheduling artists, building web posts via WordPress, cataloging works and other database tasks via Google Drive, other writing and organizational tasks including assisting in grant writing. Must be detail-oriented, consistent, reliable, with excellent writing skills. NYC location a plus but tasks are all remote so anywhere will be considered. One-year commitment. Start Fall 2015.
Position #2: Outreach, Social Media. 2-3 hours a week. Job includes promoting the organization, the artists involved and their works through various channels. Passion for the arts and the Bible necessary, willingness to think creatively to spread the word about the project and artists in new ways, graphics design skills a plus. Must be reliable, consistent, with excellent writing skills. NYC location preferred but can work from anywhere. One-year commitment. Start Fall 2015.
