“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be.” This love song is inspired by the Bible’s writings on eternal life, true lasting love and the beautiful night time sounds of Spring Peeper Frogs in Wisconsin.

The Biblical passages that appear directly in the song are Matthew 6:19-21 and 1 Corinthians 15:31. Other Biblical concepts include the influence of nature and spiritual forces on our lives, the lies we believe and the hope of eternal life, and more.

Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Frogs
What if I told you this was all there was?
What if I told you there was something more?
What if I told you you’ve been lied to?

That the pull from the moon and the stars to the heavens is something that is real
That it’s our destiny, that this earth will pass away and where your treasure is, there your heart will be.

What if I told you this was all there was?
What if I told you there was something more?
I know you

And all the stars in the sky are all shining for me and you
And all we need to touch them is to die to ourselves and open up our souls
What if I said I loved you and we could last forever?

Where your treasure is there your heart will be, yeah yeah yeah
Where your treasure is there your heart will be

I’m telling you you’ve been stolen from
And I know where your heart truly is

That the angels are not only singing only up above
they’re all around and in the ground and up and down, yeah
That the tiny frogs in the pond are all singing a prelude to our eternity
And all we need to hear them is to die to ourselves and open up our souls

What if I said I love you and we could last forever?
What if I said I love you and we could last forever?
I know how our love could last forever.

Additional passages: Psalm 136:1, 1 John 2:25, Jude 1:21
