Esther is the story of one woman faced with a nearly impossible decision: whether or not to risk her life to save her people. This version of Esther is set in modern day and features live music and sound design. The piece is based on the book of Esther and created and performed by Emily Clare Zempel and Jonathon Roberts. This piece has been workshopped at Jimmy’s 43 in NYC’s East Village, Flushnik in Brooklyn and at the Solo Works series at Theaterworks in Memphis, TN.
